Celebrating its 25th anniversary, Idaho Botanical Garden is hosting its Winter Garden aGlow throughout the remainder of the year. This event boasts a whimsical nighttime display of lights and decorations, transforming the garden “into a twinkling wonderland.” Did we mention free cookies and hot cocoa? Yes, please! You must purchase your timed ticket in advance and space is limited, so plan your trip accordingly.
What if You Want to Stay Warm?
Are you up for a road trip? There are a number of commercial and public hot springs nearby. If you’re looking for the resort experience, The Springs is located near Idaho City, just a 45-minute drive from downtown Boise. If you’re up for camping, head out to Hot Springs Campground, near Garden Valley, and enjoy a nice soak.
